No one likes to visit the dentist and when a tooth started killing me a few months ago, I broke down and went to see my wife's long time dentist. I thought my first visit to Dr. Balais was going to be for a simple tooth ache. I had no idea that it was actually one of my molars that was causing the pain. After a few minutes, Dr. Balais informs me that the tooth is infected and needs to come out. I’m thinking “Great first visit to my new dentist!”.  She offered to take it out right then instead of making me wait for another appointment to open up later in the month. The tooth came out with no problem and I was so happy with Dr. Balais’ “chairside manor”. She’s professional but friendly at the same time. Having dental work done hurts, that’s just the nature of having procedures done on your mouth, but Dr. Balais genuinely cares about anyone that needs dental assistance.  Her office staff is fun and quite bubbly, too.

I became a patient of Dr. Balais at the recommendation of a friend. At the time, I was experiencing pain in several areas that was not addressed in my previous dentist. Dr. Balais sat with me and explained in detail the areas that needed immediate attention. Over the course of a few months, she corrected numerous problems including a root canal and crown. Every visit has been a pleasant one. Dr. Balais and her staff have gone out of their way to make every visit comfortable and as stress-free as possible. I feel extremely lucky to have found such a kind, honest and competent dentist.
